Upcoming webinar "Communicating Climate Change Risk Effectively"

Climate change is among the most pressing challenges of our time; however, effectively communicating its risks to diverse audiences remains a significant obstacle. Clear communication is crucial for inspiring action and shaping policies that protect both people and the environment.

This webinar will explore how evidence-based communication strategies can improve public understanding of climate risks and promote behavioral and policy changes. Speakers will explore how climate advocacy, community engagement, and public health messaging can collaborate to promote climate progress and resilience.

“Communicating Climate Change Risk Effectively” is the final webinar in a three-part series on Climate Change, organized by the European and North American Chapters, along with the Student and New Researchers Network of the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE). It takes place on November 24, 2025 at 11:00-12:00pm EDT or 5:00-6:00pm CET. You can register for the webinar here.

You can watch the recordings of  the previous webinars of this series on “The New Evidence” and “Mental Health Effects” of climate change here.

38th Annual ISEE Conference in Munich

Nestled between the Alps and lush parklands, Munich blends innovation with sustainability. Its clean air, extensive cycling paths, and commitment to renewable energy make it one of Europe’s healthiest cities. From the serene banks of the Isar River to eco-conscious cafés and cutting-edge research in environmental science, Munich proves that urban vitality and well-being can thrive hand in hand.

It’s only fitting, then, that the ISEE 2026 takes place in Munich — under the reflecting topic “Understanding and Responding to Global and Local Challenges: Environmental Epidemiology in a Changing World”, embracing a city that perfectly embodies balance, health, and forward-thinking energy.

More information can  be found here.

The submissions deadlines for symposia, workshops, and abstracts will be announced shortly on the website.
